Obituary;
BAILEY, HERBERT AUSTIN, 57, of East Ridge, died on Sunday, November 7, 2004.

Mr. Bailey was an active member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He was an usher, volunteer at WDYN Radio, a former Sunday School teacher for nineteen years and a lay preacher at Union Gospel Mission for sixteen years.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Blake Bailey; parents, Herbert and Jeanette Degeare Bailey, Festus, MO; two sisters, Myra June Bailey, St. Louis, MO, and Carla Bailey, Upper Marlboro, MD.

Dr. David Bouler and Rev. Guy Templeton will conduct the service on Wednesday, at 10 a.m. in Asbury Chapel of Highland Park Baptist church. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday in the Asbury Chapel of Highland Park Baptist Church.

Interment will be in Rankins Chapel Cemetery, Oakdale, Tennessee. Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church, 1907 Bailey Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404. Arrangements are by Covenant Funeral Service.
