ELKHART -- Kathryn J. Marks, 90, of 28070 C.R. 24 W., formerly of 175 Foster Ave., died at 12:25 a.m. Friday (April 6, 2007) in Hubbard Hill Estates.

She was born Jan. 9, 1917, in Elkhart County to John W. and Lettie E. (Cripe) Reed. On March 20, 1937, in Wakarusa, she married Donald V. Marks. He died Sept. 22, 2005.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia J. (Buell) Loucks and Janet S. (Richard) Stewart, both of Elkhart; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 3 p.m. Monday funeral service at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart. The Rev. Brian Cray of Faith United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.

Mrs. Marks worked in housekeeping at Elkhart General Hospital for 10 years. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and the Women's Club at the YWCA.
