He is survived by his wife, Betty Myers; children, Pamela Myers Pack of Luthersville, GA, and James R. Myers of Michigan; sister, Margaret Delapp of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Robbie Myers of Moreland, Shane Pack of Luthersville, Davey Pack of Luthersville, Barbara Myers of Douglasville, Robert Myers of Douglasville and Bobby Stephens of Jasper, AL; five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Myers Stephens, and parents, Robert Franklin and Della Nance Myers.
Mr. Myers was an A&P mechanic for Eastern Airlines and also employed by Groov-Pin. Mr. Myers served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg during the Korean Conflict.
