Martin David Jones Jr. of Waco passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Ken James and Ross Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at Wilkirson Hatch-Bailey Garden Room.
Martin was born in Austin, Texas, to Martin and Caroll Jones Sr. He was a paramedic with ETMC - EMS of Waco.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Lorraine Murphy and Willie and Virginia Jones; and uncle, Joe Murphy Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Kristen Lee Jones, of Waco, whom he married on Aug. 9, 2008; his parents, Martin David and Caroll Ann Jones, of Waco; his brother and best friend, Cory Jones; aunts and uncles, Albert and Ruth Walker and Randy and Wanda Stevens, all of Austin, Jim and Linda Howell, of San Antonio, and Bob and Paulettia McLean, of Moody; special friends, Bill and Sandra Feldtmose, of Live Oak, Texas; numerous cousins and friends; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Brenda Rhodes; brother-in-law, Jamie Rhodes; and his beloved pets, Macy, Buddy and Daisy.
