Born to William Warren and Elsie Mae (Williams) Lowder, William first married Ida I. Lowder on Oct. 26, 1944 in Hanna City. He later married Virginia Lowder in 1957 in Missouri. She died July 1968. He then remarried Ida I. Lowder, Oct. 6, 1972. She also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, William W. (Vickie) Lowder Jr.; one daughter, Susan K. Lane; one stepson, Harold J. (Janice) Montville; one brother, Willard W. Lowder; and four sisters, Lillian Lowder, Lois Lowder, Mary Nichols and Betty Beasley.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, one daughter, Peggy J. Ford and three brothers.
He was the service manager for Jake's Tire in Canton retiring in 1985. He was a member of the First Christian Church, the National Rifle Association and the Canton Moose Lodge #784 since 1975.
