Nelle Loriene Taylor Bowman died at the age of 92 on 2 February 2009 in West Valley City, Utah.

She was born 22 March 1916 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Loren LeRoy and Flora Hermosa Taylor.

She married Claudius Bowman Jr. on 18 September 1941 in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church all her life and served in many callings.

She was a fun and loving elementary school teacher for 25 years in Mexico. She served a mission with her husband in the Mexico Villahermosa Mission. She loved to entertain people in her home and spend time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her good cooking, ever-present wit, and positive attitude.

She is survived by: her children, Claude (Marina), Lori (Ron), Roberta (Craig), and Conrad; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many loving family members. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Claudius; and her daughter, Nina.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2009 in the Granger Stake Center at 2850 West 3835 South in West Valley City. A family viewing will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, with a public viewing at 10 a.m. preceding the funeral.
