Irving Charles Anderson, a retired typewriter salesman and repairman, died Wednesday in a local nursing home. He was 77.
Born in St, Paul, Minn., Mr. Anderson moved to Portland from his hometown two years ago. He lived at 5918 SE 122nd Ave. He retired in 1973.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes; two daughters, Gloria Naeseth of Bellevue, Wash, and Carol Henderson of Portland; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m- Saturday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church with private interment at Lincoln Memorial Park,
