Delores C. Markway, 62, Jefferson City, died Monday in Jefferson City. She was born Sept. 21, 1927, in Vienna, a daughter of Lawrence and Frances Laubert Renkemeyer. She was married May 11, 1946, in Vienna, to Francis Markway, who survives at the home.
She was employed with Chesebrough-Pond's, Inc. She was a member of immaculate Conception Church.
Other survivors include: four sons, Randy Markway, Olathe, Kan., Bruce Markway, Jefferson City, Allen Markway, Little Rock, Ark., and Larry Markway, Trenton; three daughters, Gayla Kempker, Taos, Pattie Jeffries, Jefferson City, and Linda Markway, St. Louis; two brothers, Vic Renkemeyer, Vienna, and Don Renkemeyer, Jefferson City; seven sisters, Lucille Buehler, Naoma Rehagen and Viola Richardson, all of Springfield, Irma Richter, Freeburg, Irene Stegeman and Lillian Redel, both of Jefferson City, and Bernice Heckman, Wardsville; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. Michael Flanagan will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the Dulle Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Helias Capital Improvements Fund, Hospice of Jefferson City or the Samaritan Center.
