|Thomas Brown is flat newer replacement marker, next to Ann Brown. If she is Ann Mercer Brown, as noted by others on findagrave, the daughter of Aaron Mercer then p65-66, Jan 1950, Vol 8 No 1, Bull. of Hist. and Phil. Soc of Oh may be of interest; Marie Dickore, author tells us there that he was Captain Aaron Mercer (Virginia troops, Rev. War), the founder of Mercersburg in 1792, which later in 1803 was carelessly referred to as the New Town, on Ohio's first election ballots ("this name stuck", Newtown). His 600 acres he bought from Nathaniel Massie, surveyor and land speculator, where Mercer built Mercer's Station.|
