Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late John and Harriet Heinrichs Ross. Mrs. Green was retired from F.W. Woolworth after 28 years, and was a member of Good Shepherd Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Phyllis Staton and husband Thomas, Marjorie Shipman, Debbie Channell and husband Gary, and Shirley Ammons; four sons, James H. Green and wife, Linda, Roger A. Green, Bobby T. Green, and Phillip W. Green and wife Tina; sister, Adele Canavan; brother, John Ross and wife Marie; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
