Funeral service for Clarence A. Adams, 62, will be 10 a.m. (MST) Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Lakin, the Rev. Loren Chapman officiating.
Burial will be at Lakin Cemetery, with military rites.
Mr. Adams died Wednesday at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City.
Born Oct. 26, 1918, at Mr. Ayr, IA; he married Doris Barnes, May 16, 1947, in Syracuse. He was an employee of the Colorado Interstate Gas Co. for 32 years, and had retired at the first of this year.
A longtime resident of the area, he was a member of the United Methodist Church, Lakin, a member of VFW, and a veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Kenneth, Farmersville, LA, and William, Garden City; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Grenz, Garden City; two brothers, Raymond and Vern, both of Lakin; a sister, Mrs. Celo Fouser, Lakin; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Davis Funeral Home, Lakin.
The family suggests memorials to the church or to the American Lung Association.
