SPOKANE--Funeral for Foster R. Brown, 90, will be at 10 a.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mr. Brown, who was born in Gildford, Mont., died Sunday. He was a longtime resident of Spokane.
He attended school in a one-room schoolhouse in Gildford. He came to Spokane in 1932.
Mr. Brown worked as an electrician from 1942 to 1967, primarily in residential construction. He later moved to Kent, Wash., where he worked as a supervisor in the maintenance department for Western Airlines (now Delta) from 1967 to 1977 at the Sea-Tac Airport. He moved back to Spokane after his retirement in 1977.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Josephine; two sons, Darwin Brown of Sequim, Wash., and James Brown of Portland; a sister, Susan Dumdai of Kennewick; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and greatgreat-grandchildren.
