MICO, Texas — Jerry Ray Ooley, 66, a 1960 graduate of Bloomington High School, died on January 11, 2009, after a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Virginia Ooley.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Mico, TX); two daughters, April Overton, Wendy Ooley (Little Rock, AR); two sisters, Phyllis Mullis (Bloomington, Indiana), Delores (Dee) Ellis (Tucson, AZ); and a brother, Ira Ooley (Bloomington, Indiana).
After serving in the Army and Air Force, he retired from the military after 20 years, then retired from the City of Little Rock, AR after 24 years.
He was laid to rest at the Little Rock Veterans Cemetary on January 15, 2009.
