Robert Bob Ross, 88 years old, of Alma, Arkansas died Thursday, June 26, 1964 in a local hospital after a long illness. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Baptist church and Scottsville Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy Ross; one son E. C. Ross of Central Point, Oregon; two stepsons, Shannon Kennedy of Fort Smith and Verl F. Kennedy of Reseda, California; two daughters, Evelyn of Alma and Lawanda of Farmington, New Mexico; one brother, George L. of Russellville; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Monday at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist church in Alma with O. Lynn Langston, officiating. Burial was in Alma City cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
