Hiram Stewart was born about 1852, and died after 1870. According to family research compiled many years ago on the Stewart/Fisher family of Liberty Community, Hiram Stewart is buried in Liberty Cemetery.

There are 4 blank headstones in a row next to Noah "Bud" Stewart's grave. I believe it is logical to assume that Bud's father and 3 brothers are buried in those graves.

My grandmother, Clydelle (Lantrip) Jacob, told me that the many blank headstones you see in Liberty used to be painted with the name and dates. Each year during the 4th of July Reunion Picnic family members would repaint the stones that needed it. Over time, this custom died out, and the information has been lost, regrettably.
