Obituary
Paul Cournoyer - There died on Wednesday, the 18th, Paul Cournoyer, a well known resident of Hungerford, at the age of 64 years. Deceased had been ailing for about three months and death was not unexpected when the end came.
Paul Cournoyer was a native of Hungerford Township and lived all his life in this section, following the occupation of farmer. About a year ago he moved to Tweed, where he resided until his death.
The relatives of deceased are five brothers; Peter, Louis and John in Hungerford, and Dennis and Simon in Wisconsin, and three sisters; Mrs. Oliver Laton in Hungerford, Mrs. Bebeau of Sorel, Quebec and Mrs. Wilcott in Wisconsin. His wife died about a year ago and no children survive them.
The funeral took place on Friday last to St. Edmund's cemetery, Stoco and was largely attended by his many relatives and friends.
Among the bequests left by deceased was a holy water font to be placed in St. Carthagh's Church, of which he was a member.
