MEMPHIS - Margaret Sue Ward, 62, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley with the Rev. Daniel Downey of First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis.

Mrs. Ward was born Dec. 17, 1946, in Mulberry, Ark., to Columbus and Emma Williams Cowan. She married Gerald Ward on Feb. 27, 2001, in Childress.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald; a son, Lonnie Bennett; five daughters, Barbara Collett, Gay Lynn Bennett, Charlotte Oldaker, Debra Neidecker-Webb and Connie Waldroupe-Smith; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vernon Cowan and Jerry Cowan; and a sister, Margie Huggins.
