Isabelle (Izzy) Jeanette Salmon went on to her heavenly home December 22, 2008 at the age of 92. Isabelle was born November 17, 1916 to Bill and Mary Nelson in Coalgate, Oklahoma. Miss Nelson, as she was known in Coalgate, would marry Alfonse Salmon and raise their family in the town she was born. She remained there nearly her whole life until illness would move her to Tulsa. She is survived by daughter Mary Ann Bellew of Sapulpa, son David Salmon and his wife Debbie of Sapulpa, and son Neil Salmon and his wife Vicki of Coalgate. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. Izzy's life was a reflection of her faith and love of family. Although she will be dearly missed , we take comfort in knowing she is reunited in Heaven with her husband, brothers, parents, and many dear friends that have preceeded her in death.
