The Late Miss Adelia Knight, Who Passed Away at the Age of 75 Years. Miss Adelia Knight, of this place passed away the 2d inst., death being due to heart failure. Miss Knight was the youngest daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Daniel Knight, and was born April 13, 1841, in Lowville. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister, Mrs. Sophia Archer, the last surviving member of a family of nine children: a nephew, George Knight of Chicago, Ill., and three nieces. Mrs. Byron Litchfield of Pontiac, Mich.; Mrs. Benjamin Wood, of Watertown, and Mrs. Arthur Cone, of Denmark. The funeral was largely attended Sunday June 4th at the home of the deceased and was conducted by Rev. B. J. Davison. The M. E. choir sang "Face to Face." "Wait and Murmur Not.". Those present from out of town were Mrs. Benjamin Wood of Watertown, and Mrs. Perry Knight of Denmark. Interment was made in West Martinsburg cemetery.
