Services for Grace E. Chastain, 89, of 63 S.E. Church St. will be Saturday at 2:30 pm at Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Halls Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Miller Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chastain died Thursday at Colonial Pines Nursing Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Ann Leverett of Ohatchee and Marian P. Surrett of Oxford; two sons, James A. Chastain, Jr. of Centerton, Ark., and Thomas A. Chastain of Shelby, Tenn.; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Leverett Jr., Shane Ashworth, Chris Chastain, Ronald D. Chastain, Marty Whaley, Tim Leverett, Terry Chastain and Todd Mason.
Mrs. Chastain was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Weaver Holiness Church.
