October 23, 1938 p.1 The Lawton Constitution - Mrs. Ray Rites Held Saturday -
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Ava Ray, 36 year old Comanche county farm woman who died early Friday at the family home in the Mineral Wells community, were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lawton Funeral home chapel.
Rev. A. M. Brown, a retired Baptist minister, officiated at the services. He was assisted by Rev. Gary Carter, pastor of the Church of Christ. Rev. Carter had charge of the commitment at the grave.
Pallbearers were Roy Dossey, Elmer Edwards, John Dickson, Elmer Sims, Ed McKinzie and Dick Bullard.
Burial was made in the Letitia cemetery.
