DAVID CITY - Joseph L. Bock, 97, of David City died Sunday, Jan 14, 1996 at David Place in David City.
Services are at 2pm Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home of David City with the Rev Larry Orvis officating. Burial is the David City Cemetery.
Visitation is at noon - 9pm Tuesday and 9am Wednesday until services at the funeral home.
Mr. Bock was born March 5, 1898, at David City to Lorenz and Anna (Beierle) Bock and attended Butler County rural schools.
He married Gertrude Papa December 29, 1920, at David City where he was a lifetime resident. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include one son, Donald of David City, two sisters Gladys From of Rising City and Eloine From of David City; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one infant son, two brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made in care of the family.
