Himan Eminger, Private; Co. K-9; under 1st Lieutenant William Myers. Enlisted 5 Dec 1864; 5 ft 6.5 inches; hazel eyes, brown hair; farmer, born Ohio. Was accidentally scalded 1 May 1865 in Greensboro NC when camp kettle of coffee upset. Was sent to General Hospital at Greensboro, NC. Contacted typhoid & _______ fever while in hospital. Died of typhoid 20 July 1865.
