Mr. Ocil Bryant, age 89, of 400 Bomar Heights, Columbia, passed away Sunday December 26, 1993 at 11:31 p.m. at the Westlake Cumberland Hospital after an illness.
He was the son of the late John Austin and Ruthie Belle Brockman Bryant of Adair County.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Oma Sinclair on May 6, 1982.
Mr. Bryant is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elbert (Golda) Burton of Columbia and Mrs. Jack (Mildred) Bartell of Florida.
Also surviving are one son, Jerry Bryant of Indianapolis, Indiana, eight grandchildren, one step-grandchild and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Jean Sparks in March 1993.
Mr. Bryant was retried from a factory in Ohio.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, December 30, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Rev. John L. Coomer officiating.
Interment int he Haven Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Burton, Mike Akin, John D. Lowe III, Kenny Akin, Freddy Newby and Nicholas Burton.
