Emma D. "Dee" Dandoy, age 59, of Mio, Michigan, passed away September 29, 2008 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw.
Emma Meadows was born on December 31, 1948 in Madison, TN to William and Bessie Mae Meadows. She was raised in Detroit, moved to Mississippi, and later returned to Dearborn. In 1993, Dee moved to Mio, where she worked as a Home-Health Care Nurse for the Department of Social Services.
She had attended the New Beginnings Four Square Gospel Church. Dee enjoyed crocheting, going to Rummage Sales, fishing, cooking, and playing cards. She will be remembered for her friendliness and willingness to help others in need.
Dee Dandoy was survived by her companion Tommy Gray; her daughter Melinda (Claude) Cote of Wyandotte, Ml; her stepdaughters Megan Gray and Mandalin Gray; her grandchildren: Amber Steagall, Alexis Steagall, and Nathan Cote; her niece Rhonda Meadows; her grand nephew Kevin Meadows; her best friend Connie Bills & her sons; and her beloved pet "Snuffy".
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alexander Dandoy, and her son Troy Lewis.
