Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 28, for Burton Lipscomb, 86, who died at his home near Lake City. Surviving are his wife, Mary Burress Burton; three sons, Sherman, Roscoe and Charles and one daughter, Mrs. Katie Foust, all of near Lake City.
The services were held at 2 p.m. at Island Ford Baptist church with the Rev. Mr. Cox and the Rev. Ed Wilson officiating. Burial took place in the church cemetery. Martin Funeral Home had charge.
