Biddle Arthur B, 77, died Dec. 25 in Pompano Beach Fla. A 1923 graduate of Ligonier High School, he was a basketball player. He attended South Bend Business College and graduated from Wabash College. He was employed by Ligonier Refrigerator Co., which later became the Hussman Corp. He served as executive vice president with that firm in the St. Louis, Mo. office until his retirement. He was a member of the Ligonier Masonic Lodge, Presbyterian Church, Elks Lodge and Mizpah Shrine. Surviving are his wife, the former Sarah Bassett; one son, Tom; a daughter, Betty Alice; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside services Saturday in Oak Park Cemetery. He was cremated in Florida. + 12-25-1983
