Avon, IL - Kathryn Schieferdecker, 90 of Avon, IL., formerly of Farmington, passed away Thursday November 23, 2006 at 9:05am at the Avon Nursing Home.
She was born January 22, 1916 in Christopher, IL to John and Margarita (Serra) Baudino. She married Nardo Scapecchi. She later married Roger Schieferdecker. They both preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Marcia Bird of Denver, CO and Paula (Brian) Hoffmann of Avon, one sister, Dominica Ventura of Minneapolis, MN, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, retired Lt. Col. Anne B. Cost.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Farmington. She was a member of the PEO in Farmington.
Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington.
