Husband of E. Browne, of Park End, Bromley.∼Victor enlisted at the outbreak of the war and after a short period of training was sent to France and Italy. He was then sent back to the Western Front where he was wounded at the beginning of 1918 and was attacked by trench fever.
On the 26th of October he was severely wounded and operated on on the same day.
He was brought back to England on 3rd November, and taken to the 5th Northern Hospital, Leicester where he died on the 5th November, before his family were able to visit him.
