Obituary from the Register-News, 11/3/2008:

L. Dale Anderson, 83, of Conway, Mo., and formerly of Wayne City, passed away at 1:18 p.m. Oct. 31, 2008, at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Mo.

He was born in Wayne County on Sept. 7, 1925, a son of Logan and Ida (Gregory) Anderson. He married his wife Louella, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 13, 2003. He was a retired carpenter and minister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with the Rev. Lonnie Shepard officiating. Burial will follow at Bailey Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Anderson is survived by a son, . . . ; daughters, . . . [two]; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, one sister, one infant son, one grandson and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson was a member of the Union Starr General Baptist Church and a member of Carpenters Local in Mt. Vernon.
