Thomas Minter Batjer, 46, passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in Fort Worth.
Memorial service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Lukes in the Meadows Episcopal Church, 4301 Meadowbrook Drive, Fort Worth. Interment will be held at a later date at the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to St. Lukes in the Meadow Episcopal Church.
Tom was born Dec. 17, 1962, in Dallas to Robert and Jacqueline Batjer. He attended New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell later serving in the U.S. Army. Tom had resided in the Fort Worth area for the past 14 years. He was a member of St. Lukes in the Meadow Episcopal Church where he served on the vestry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Batjer Jr.
Survivors: Wife, Christina Batjer; daughters, Ashley Nicole and Paris Elizabeth Batjer; mother, Jaqueline Batjer of Abilene; brother, Jim Batjer and wife, Shawn, of Plano; sister, Jane Anne Batjer of St. Louis, Mo.; aunt, Susan Shelton of Abilene; and uncle, the Rev. Tommy Bye of Marble Falls.
