Pioneer Tuolumne Woman is Buried- Tuolumne, Dec. 1 - (Special)
The funeral of Mrs. Lawrence Ames, who died at a Sonora hospital Monday night, took place from the Methodist church, Tuolumne, on Wednesday afternoon. Rev. A. Cecil officiating. Internment was in Carters cemetery. Deceased was well known to Tuolumne, where she received her education and spent most of her life. Surviving her are her husband, three small children, her father and mother Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert of Oakdale, and a number of brothers and sisters.
