About six o'clock last Saturday morning, Mrs. Ernest Anz was taken with an attack of heart failure, at the home of her father, John Ludwig, a few miles south of town, and before the doctor who was summoned by telephone, could reach her, she was dead.
Deceased's husband, Mr. Ernest Anz, was out in the Womack community doing some farm work at the time of the death, and the sad news reached him as a severe shock.
Funeral services were conducted from the residence at 2 o'clock p.m. Sunday by Rev. Pfundt of Womack, and the body was put to rest in the Clifton cemetery in the presence of many sorrowing relatives and friends, by the side of her mother, Mrs. John Ludwig, who preceded her in death but a few weeks ago.
The Record joins the many friends of the bereaved family in extending condolence.
