James W. Abel: Military honors will be accorded James W. Abel, 72, Spanish-American War veteran, in Arlington National Cemetery following services at 2 pm Wednesday at Chambers Chapel, Fourteenth and Chapin Streets, Northwest.
Mr. Abel, retired grocer, died yesterday at Mt. Alto Hospital. He was a member of Camp Pettit, Spanish War Veteran, Blue Lodge and Stansbury Lode of the Masonic fraternity.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Laura Abel, and a son, Merritt Walton Abel, both of Washington.
