Virginia Mae "Ginny" Fullen, 80, passed away December 10, 2008. As an Avon resident of 58 years, she had been a member of the Homemakers Club, the PTA and volunteer for school activities. A brother James and parents (Lillian and Edgar) preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Walker; four children, Debbie (Ken) Smith, Darlene (David) Floerke, Delisa Fullen, Dan (Carol) Fullen and three grandchildren, Michael Smith, Douglas and Kayla Fullen. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday December 15, 2008 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday December 14. Burial, Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.

I went to school with Mrs. Fullen's children from K to 12. I visited her home and was always treated well. I had the chance to see her one more time in 2005. She was much the same as she had been when I was a child. I was sorry to hear of her passing.
