WILLIAM A. ALLENDER

William Alonzo Allender, son of Emmor and Eliza Allender, was born Sept. 29, 1892 and departed this life July 29, 1939 at his home south of Peoga, at the age of 47 years and 10 months.

He was united in marriage to Grace M. Anderson April 3, 1918 and to this union was born a daughter, Helen Louise, who with the loving wife is left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father. He also leaves several aunts and cousins, and a host of loving friends and neighbors.

He attended church at several different places. He was a kind friend in need and a helpful neighbor. He had been in ill health for the past month. He marched with the colors in the World War in 1918. His father and mother preceded him in death in his early manhood.

Funeral services were conducted at the Mt. Olive church near Peoga Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. by the Rev. Ray Bozell of Edinburgh. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
