Primitiva "Nina" Florez, 82, a resident of Atwater for 48 years, was born on November 26, 1925 in Coahoma, Texas to the late Modesto and Rita (Marez) Munoz and passed away on December 5, 2007 in Merced, California at the Mercy Merced Medical Center - Community Campus.
Public visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Atwater with a Rosary to follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 6:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Atwater at 1:00 P.M. and burial will follow at Winton District Cemetery in Winton. Rev. Tom Timmings will officiate all services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Nina's name. All funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home, 3050 Winton Way in Atwater, California.
