Joy L. Stout, 76, of Coalmont, passed away at 2:34 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. Born May 15, 1932 in Shelburn, she was the daughter of William Bush and Hallie (Hostettler) Bush. She married Donald Stout on March 19, 1950. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendly Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Donald Stout of Coalmont; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Steve Ford of Terre Haute ; sons and daughters-in-law: Bill and Jane Stout of Jasonville, Brad and Pam Stout of Jasonville, Gary Stout of Terre Haute, Carey Stout of Bloomfield; sisters, Eileen Dale of Shelburn, Norma Galenski of Shelburn, Annabelle Akers of Sullivan; a brother, Ray Bush of Sullivan; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastor Brad Stout officiating. Burial will be in Friendly Grove Cemetery.
