CARENCRO - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2003, at Melancon Funeral Home for Henrietta Domec, 53, the former Henrietta Legere, who died at 9:05 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2003, in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

The Rev. Bill Melancon, pastor of St. Peter Roman
Catholic Church will officiate the services.

She was a native of Cankton and resident of Carencro. She was formally employed by the Lafayette Parish School Board as a cook.

Survivors include two sons, Shane Paul Domec and
his wife, Angel, of Cankton, and Scott John Domec, of Lafayette; her former husband, Sidney Domec; two brothers, Kermit Legere and his wife, Lisa, and Kerney Legere and his wife, Becky; two sisters, Regina Jacqneaux, and Belva Jean Lavergne and
her husband, Harold, of Lafayette; and one granddaughter; Hailey Domec.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Legere and Euchariste Menard Legere; and one brother, Alexander Legere.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed Sunday until service time today.

A rosary was prayed at 1 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Shane Paul Domec, Scott John
Domec, Kerney Legere, Kermit Legere, Sidney Domec, and Larry Lagneaux.
