Josh was a 2005 Northside High School graduate, and was currently attending Middle Georgia Technical College and was employed as a welder at the Iron Shop. He loved all manners of sports and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding dirt bikes. His memory will forever be treasured by his father, David Baker, Warner Robins; mother, Teresa Lynn Baker, Bonaire; brother, David Benjamin Baker, Warner Robins; sister, Michelle Paige Baker, Warner Robins; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Spearman, Warner Robins; uncle, Jimmy Pierce, Warner Robins; aunts, Judy Cooke, Warner Robins; Debbie Singleton (Danny), Bonaire; Carolyn Hurt, Warner Robins and Shawna Hufstetler, Warner Robins and a number of cousins. Josh died at the scene of the crash on Dunbar Road between Story Road and Margaret Drive, Houston County while he was travelling east on Dunbar Road at a high speed. During a wheelie maneuver, the front tire was lifted into the air and when it came back down on the road, he lost control and the motorcycle ran off the road. Josh was thrown off the motorcycle and struck a utility pole, and although he was wearing a helmet, it came off in the crash.
