Mrs. Nora G. Alleman
Wife of Charles W. Alleman of 2616 Oak avenue, died at her home at 5:10 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a complication of diseases after having been ill for several years. She was born at Duncannon on Aug 1, 1872, a daughter of James T. and Sarah Emerick Haas, for many years residents of Alleghany Furnace. For a number of years following her marriage she resided in Pittsburgh, returning to Altoona several years ago. Surviving are her husband, two daughters Fern and Jane, all at home and two sisters, Miss Jane Haas and Mrs. Charles H. Cassidy of the city. Mrs. Alleman was a member of the Mt. Washington, Pittsburgh Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with Rev. John L. Barnes, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, officiating. The body may be viewed at the home. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
