Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey M. Whitney, 72, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Interment was in Reagan Cemetery with the Rev. Kelly Wayne Clark and the Rev. Benton Collins officiating.
A native of Spearsville, La., in Union Parish, she was born in 1912. She married in 1933 to Edward Whitney. She is a member of Coax Baptist Church. She died on Dec. 6, 1984, following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Whitney, Winnsboro; two sons, James Whitney and Bobby Whitney, both of Winnsboro; one brother, Fred L. Denton, Shreveport; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lloyd Torrey, O. L. Garner, Jr., Howard Robinson, Ray Ratcliff, Billy Joe Ashley, Sr., and Ricky Berkemeyer.
