Wilbur Crawford, 72 of Houston, died Sunday, April 3, 1983 in a local hospital. He was a retired inspector for the City of Houston Public Works. A veteran of the Seabees in World War II, where he was a C.P.O., a member of Company B-2 of 105th N.C.B., World War II Veterans Association, also a member of Plumbers Local # 68. Survived by wife, Clara Crawford of Houston; daughter, Danna Montgomery of Houston; son, David C. Sellers of Houston; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Jack Crawford of San Antonio; sisters Peggy Stair of Scherz, Tx., Dit Schmidt of Victoria, Tx., and Gladys Myres of Dallas, Tx. Service at Heights Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 1983 with Rev. Leonard Negrin officiating. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Company B-2. Active pallbearers, members of City Plumbing Inspectors.
