Eureka Man Dies At 62
EUREKA -- James Hyrum McNeil, 62, Eureka, died Monday. He was born July 6, 1909, to David William and Elizabeth Laird McNeil in Eureka. He married Jewel Kathryn Berry on August 8, 1932.
He was a retired miner. Mr. McNeil was a member of the LDS Church. He was also a member of the Utah Fireman's Association and of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Survivors include his widow, Eureka; one son and three daughters, James B. McNeil, Grants Pass, Ore.; Rosalie Brown, Payson; Marilou Roybal, Kearns; Ileene Foulger, West Jordan; 20 grandchildren; one brother and one sister, John McNeil, Grants Pass, Ore.; Elizabeth Huff, Pocatello, Ida.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Eureka ward chapel. Friends may call Thursday at the family home in Eureka from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
