Suggested edit: Funeral services for Phillip Ross Bearden, 61, Branson, will be held Sat., March 10 at 11 a.m. in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson. Burial to follow in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson, with full military honors. Phillip passed away Wednesday morning in the Skaggs Community Health Center, Branson. Phillip graduated from the Branson High School in 1962. Phillip entered the United States Air Force on Aug. 29, 1962, and was discharged Aug. 28, 1966. He graduated from the School of the Ozarks in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Phillip had worked for the Branson Daily News in Branson, and the Purple Shamrock Retail Store in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Christine Bearden, and two brothers, Charles and Leon Bearden. Phillip is survived by his wife, Terry Bearden, of the home; one sister, Geraldine Nevins of Branson; three brothers, Willis Bearden of Osceola, Mo., Don Bearden of Harrisonville, Mo., and Joe Bearden of Joplin, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. until service time in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.
