Brian Patrick Kelly was born May 14, 1979, at Ogdensburg, a son of G. Kenneth and Ruth Ann Fox Kelly. He was a senior at Heuvelton Central School, where he was active in the Senior Band, Marching Band, Senior Chorus, Encore drama club and varsity soccer. He was a member of the Ogdensburg Free Academy junior varsity football team. He also played on the boys modified basketball team at Heuvelton and in the Ogdensburg Pop Warner football league. He was selected to participate in Valley League Chorus and the Sectional All-state Chorus.
He died from Hodkin's disease.
