Norman Henry Blitch, 62, a retired voucher examiner at the Parris Island Marine Base, died yesterday at his home, 1002 Tangerine Avenue, South. Mr. Blitch was born in Meggetts, S.C. and moved here a year ago from Beaufort, S.C. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife, Claudia, and a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Blitch, both here; four sons, Norman, Jr., of Athens, Greece, Buchanan, of New Orleans; Baynard and William, both here; two brothers, Daniel, of Charleston, S.C. and James, of Jacksonville; and a sister, Mrs. Lillian B. Brown, here. Baynard-Barnes Funeral Home, Inc. will announce arrangements.



Blitch – Norman Blitch, 62, of 1002 Tangerine Avenue South, died Nov. 13, in his home. He is survived by his wife, Claudia, a daughter, four sons, two brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. in the Baynard-Barnes Chapel, 7870 4th Ave., North. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
