Edwin A. Aasen, 68, retired Coquille logger, died suddenly from a heart attack at his home in Coos Bay here Wednesday.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Schroeder Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Liston Paris. Burial will be held in the local Masonic cemetery.
Aasen was born at Arago May 16, 1878, and lived his entire life in the Coquille Valley. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Sivert Aasen, pioneer settlers in this area.
