While working at Fairchild Aircraft during WWII she volunteered to become a Navy Wave which took her to Bolling Naval Air Station in Washington D.C. where she met and married Sgt. They had two sons, Thomas George and David Brian Ingels and lived in Landover Hills, MD. After her retirement from the Maryland State Health Dept. they moved to Annapolis where she stayed very involved with helping aging memebers of her community until her death. Having grown up on Long Island sound Lillian never lost her love for being around the water and beaches. She enjoyed frequent travel and visiting with friends. Her four grandchildren Sean, Lori, Millie and Ashley Ingels and great granddaughter Erica were the love and light of her life.
