Floyd was the son of Phillip Jacob Culp and Stella Sherwood.

He had two siblings: Putnam Elroy and one more I can't find.

Floyd married Anne Marie Chodora on March 16, 1916.

They were the parents of six children: Raymond Howard, Francis Ralph, Virginia Lillian, Violet Helen, Bradford Bernard, and John.

Floyd married Hattie Caroline Rowe on August 4, 1930.

Funeral services for Floyd Bradford Culp, 85, who died at the Bagley Hospital, June 26, were held at the Cease Chapel at Bagley Saturday. The Rev. James Howard officiated with burial in the Clover Cemetery.
Mr. Culp was born at Fremont, Nebraska, July 4, 1887, moving as a small child to Argusville, North Dakota; and 1959 to Clover Township, Clearwater County. The past few years he had lived at the Clearwater Hotel, Clearbrook, and a month ago entered the Good Samaritan Home at Clearbrook. He had been engaged in farm work all his life.
Survivors include three sons, Francis of Roseau, Raymond of Perley and John of Valley City; two daughters, Mrs. Art (Virginia) Ahmeman and Mrs. Lloyd (Violet) Meyers of Roseau; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son and a grandson.
